Now 36 years later, the Child & Family Center provides comprehensive prevention, early intervention, diagnostic evaluation and therapeutic services for children, teens, adults, and families.

Opportunity
Child & Family Center is seeking a highly energetic, self-motivated individual to help expand its non-profit fundraising efforts. The Development Associate: Donor Relations and Stewardship will be part of a 5 person team and report directly to the President/Executive Director of Foundation. The Development Associate: Donor Relations and Stewardship will be expected to work very collaboratively with the Vice President of Foundation and the Development Assistant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Provides full administrative support services related to donor relations and stewardship in a timely and efficient manner
Maintains up-to the minute knowledge of donor data system for Foundation, stays abreast of new advancements to the system, and provides training to other Foundation staff members on such advancements as needed.
Records revenue received as donations (cash and/or in-kind), producing acknowledgement of all donations within a rapid turnaround time.
Provides accurate records as pertains to individual donations as well as special events and projects, and updates donor records, profiles and giving histories as new participation is recorded.
Produces plans and executes programs for recognition of gifts and donors.
Produces timely financial reports to President, Board of Directors and, Foundation staff.
Develops strategic plans to improve donor relations and stewardship.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience:
Bachelors Degree
Raisers Edge by Blackbaud (Required)
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrate experience in administrative support services for the nonprofit sector.
Demonstrates adaptability and flexibility in task and schedule
Can analyze tasks and performs efficiently with minimal direction or assistance
Detail oriented
Excellent computer skills including Excel and Powerpoint
