Richstone Family Center is seeking a Community Development Facilitator/Parenting Instructor to facilitate and support Neighborhood-Based Community Groups of adults and youth who will develop activities designed to enhance their communities; provide parenting classes and parent support groups (in English and Spanish), as well as make referrals to economic development and employment opportunities. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Must be fully bilingual and bi-literate in English and Spanish. Trained/Certified to provide parenting instruction, with a minimum of one year experience providing parenting classes. Experience providing community development activities including but not limited to community organizing, facilitating community groups/meetings or implementing community activities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations of adults and youth. * Must have own automobile and valid California Drivers License & proof of insurance. Hours and compensation: 25 hours per week, $16 per hour, partial medical and dental benefits.
